See resume examples here. You can use the resume for an internship, job, scholarship or college application. Just copy and save to your own drive, then make it your own. Share with Ms. Bertrand if you want feedback, I'm happy to help. Example 1 - interested in horticulture/landscaping
Example 2 - interested in construction/architecture
For cover letter, you may use this format. See Ms. Bertrand for any suggestions on your work.
If you want to do a portfolio, use a web site format (example here) and include the following pages: - Home page with the purpose of your site - Resume page (don't include contact info on a public resume), keep the contact info hidden if your web page template allows it) - My skills with examples of you demonstrating the skill (optional page, helps you write the skills section of the resume and ace the interview if you've done the exercise) - Samples of work (use photos, papers, projects, artefacts, music...). For each, have a comment explaining why you chose and the skill it demonstrates. 3-5 samples are OK, no more than 10 samples unless there is a specific reason for it. - References (people who know you, how they know you, say that contact information is available upon request)
