Career Development is a process. The suggestions below are only a guideline.
9th grade - focus on adjustment to high school, being part of communities (family, school, extra-curriculars). If you have time in the summer, maybe do some community service but not a lot of hours.
10th grade - start getting more involved in activities that allow you to explore your interests, try electives that help you. Volunteer in the school if you like (library, WAHS Squad, athletics...). Summer: community service would be a great idea.
11th grade - go more in depth but don't overwhelm yourself with too many responsibilities. Choose what you really like and get involved there. Think about opportunities to work, volunteer or intern.
12th grade - please save time for making your plans for next year so don't overdo it!
