Certificates prepare you for jobs by taking just the classes you need for a job. It is very likely that the certificate was requested by employers because they have a need for workers with that skill.
Two year degrees prepare you for careers in two years. You will graduate with an Associate's Degree.
Two year degrees can also prepare you to transfer to a college or university to earn a four-year degree (Bachelor's Degree).
Public college and universities in Virginia accept PVCC students through GUARANTEED Admissions
Some classes are offered through Workforce Services but those are not eligible for financial aid. However we know of programs that will pay for it if you qualify.
