WAHS Key Club participates in regular community service. Web site here or check with the officers. You definitely want to get involved with Book Buddies at the elementary school!
WAHS Robotics Club helps with Girls Geek Days once a month and needs girls to help guide elementary girls in easy and fun activities on Saturday mornings.

Crozet Arts and Crafts Festival Saturday, October 6 needs lots of volunteers
Crozet Trails Crew organizes work days, must be with an adult if under 18. Help maintain our trails!
Community-based options: See the United Way list (you can search opportunities by age) or The Center for Non Profit Excellence list of organizations, look for a cause you care about. Don't forget about the Crozet-based options like the Rescue Squad or the Fire Station. They offer incredible training opportunities that can lead to employment. If you work enough hours, you can earn internship credit for your service. More info here.
